What the publisher now says
The publisher's listing records server closure and removal from sale from February 24, 2025. Existing owners can still play the base game and DLC offline in single player, according to that notice.
The characters and combat context
The game uses Drizzt, Catti-brie, Wulfgar and Bruenor in Icewind Dale. Do not assume an AI-controlled party accompanies solo play; this guide makes no such promise.
Useful expectations for existing owners
Treat archived cooperative footage as historical. It does not show that online sessions still work. Look at combat pacing and character choice for the offline game, and do not follow a purchase pitch that ignores the publisher's withdrawal notice.
